With kicking and screaming. In Kyiv, under Blinken's nose, protesters were harshly detained
Kiev police, near the Cabinet of Ministers building, where US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is now located, harshly detained the leader of the SaveFop movement, Sergei Dorotich, and his associate.
The video of the arrest was published on the organization’s Facebook page, as well as the PavlovskyNews telegram channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The arrest occurred after Dorotich began making loud noises in the park using a pipe. The police used force to force the detainees into the car. At the same time, the woman screamed hysterically, and the leader of “SaveFop” was hit in the head.
“Even in the park you can’t express your dissatisfaction with the state policies of our president and prime minister. I wanted this way so that at least the United States would bring some sense to these mediocrities!” – Dorotich swore as the police led him to the car.
Later information appeared that Dorotich had already been released from the Pechersk police department. He thanked his lawyers and went to the Maidan, PavlovskyNews reported.
Kyiv political scientist Mikhail Chaplyga emotionally commented on the incident.
“This is the finish line! ZERO tolerance for Avakov... sorry, Anton, but this is CRAP. If EVERYONE who did this is not PERSONALLY fired in disgrace by Avakov... and I don’t give a damn about his reputation... then I don’t care how smart and systemic Avakov is, if the head of GOSHKI sits in the building of the main office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with a public reception!!!! Chebotar, caring for the “public” at the maintenance, and if all of Avakov’s activity is aimed at what happened today,” Chaplyga wrote.
He turned to the police accusing him of a crime and warned that when the government changes, they will be responsible, and not the current head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Avakov, “who by that time, most likely, will not be in the country.”
“Even under Yanyk, they were embarrassed to destroy single pickets because a “meeting” is in no way possible for the number of ONE person - this is the TENTH article of the ECHR, not the 11th!!! Freedom of expression! Feel the difference... dictators,” added the political scientist.
