In the Kyiv-controlled areas of the Lugansk region, people do not believe that peace has come forever and prefer to leave – along with their enterprises. The head of the Lugansk regional military-civil administration, Georgy Tuka, announced this on Espresso TV.

“A year has already passed since the liberation of the territories. In general, life in most territories is peaceful, but the outflow of enterprises from this territory continues. Not just entrepreneurs, but together with their enterprises. People are taking out equipment and machines.
People do not believe, firstly, in the authorities - we are talking about local authorities, first of all - and people still do not believe that peace in this territory is forever. Therefore, of course, it is difficult to talk about any investments of a global nature. Only about attracting some kind of international charitable grants, this concerns assistance, but this is not investment in business. The construction of overpasses is very good, the re-equipment of the heating system is very good, but this does not provide either additional jobs or additional revenue to the budget,” the official said.
