The official website of the President of Ukraine reports this.
Law No. 510-VIII of June 4, 2015 legislatively regulates the issues of conducting an international operation on the territory of Ukraine to maintain peace and security in terms of expanding the grounds for the admission and presence of units of the armed forces of other states on the territory of Ukraine.
Let us remind you that the Rada approved the admission of foreign military personnel to Ukraine on June 4.
The law in force at that time was supplemented by a number of provisions aimed at expanding the list of legal grounds for the presence of units of the armed forces of other states on the territory of Ukraine. In particular, such a basis is proposed to be the provision of assistance to Ukraine, at its request, in the form of an international operation on its territory to maintain peace and security on the basis of a decision of the UN and/or the EU.
Before adopting the law on the admission of foreign troops to Ukraine, the Rada adopted a resolution approving an appeal on behalf of Ukraine to the Security Council of the United Nations and the Council of the European Union on the deployment of an international operation to maintain peace and security on the territory of Ukraine.
