In the morning it was planned that the rebel politician would break through to Ukraine through the Krakovets checkpoint. But suddenly Saakashvili changed his plans after he learned that the so-called “titushki”, allegedly armed, were gathering at the checkpoint.
It was decided to travel by train from the Polish station of Przemysl. However, the Ukrainian train crew refused to send the train until Saakashvili left it. The deputies threatened the young female railway workers, but they did not give in.
The train with all the passengers stood on the tracks for almost two hours. Meanwhile, another Ukrainian train arrived at the neighboring platform. Saakashvili and his retinue rushed there, but not only the railway workers, but also the passengers opposed this. They shouted “gang” at the politicians and got into altercations.
Saakashvili's group returned to the first train and began to offer the languishing passengers there to be sent on the second train. Ukrainian politicians themselves hoped to stay. But this plan also had to be abandoned.
Meanwhile, Saakashvili's supporters on the Ukrainian side are also forced to move. First from Krakovets to Mostyska station, now to Shegini. “Titushki” and police officers migrate behind them. Among those greeting Saakashvili are many former military men; they are discussing how they will repel the National Guard.
