Saakashvili: A Klondike is coming for Ukraine, let’s lure factories from China
Ukraine will lure enterprises from China, promising lower tax rates for them and cheap labor, which are available after the return of guest workers from the European Union.
Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, who is tipped for the post of Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, stated this on the air of the talk show “Freedom of Speech by Savik Shuster,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine has an opportunity - enterprises are leaving China, we are taking them for ourselves. How can we pick them up? Only by offering much freer tax conditions and much more free conditions, in the sense of regulatory ones.
We can take dozens of enterprises from China. In Ukraine now, thank God, there are a lot of free workers - qualified, smart. We collect them and begin to create competition for Europe.
The second story is that the whole world will now need food. The catastrophe will occur in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. This is a Klondike for Ukraine. But for this we need to intensify agriculture...
“Or we will now create conditions when everything that will leave Europe, Asia, China, other countries, Russia will come to Ukraine, or there will be no place for normal people in Ukraine,” Saakashvili said.
