Lawyers and party members of Mikheil Saakashvili, exiled from Ukraine, held a press conference in Kiev today, where they reiterated that Petro Poroshenko’s decision to deprive him of his Ukrainian passport was illegal, and therefore Saakashvili does not abandon plans to cross the border from Poland at the Krakovets checkpoint on September 10 "

Saakashvili’s party “Rukh of New Forces” published a call for his like-minded people to come to the border with tents, blankets and a good mood. Everyone who wants to take part in the new Maidan will be transported by free bus from Lviv.
“What should I take with me? We don't know how long the meeting will last. If you are ready to come for one day, come in your own car, take water, food, and Ukrainian flags with you. If you are willing to come for more than 1 day, take a tent, sleeping bag, food and water with you. We aim to calmly wait until Mikhail is allowed through,” the press release says.
Saakashvili himself said the day before on Channel 24 (controlled by Lvov Mayor Andrei Sadov) that the Ukrainian authorities “drove military equipment to the border, and additional military personnel.”
“We have a war in the East, a real threat. What threat could come from Poland? ...They are preparing some kind of provocations. I will not be surprised if in the next days they declare me an agent or general of the FSB, Putin’s best friend, a plan to undermine Ukraine,” Saakashvili said.
He assures that deputies of the Verkhovna Rada supporting him will arrive at the border on September 10.
