“How should Odessa react to the words of the visiting governor, who, not yet knowing his region, which he leads, allows himself to say the following: “Outside Odessa there is such a residential area of Kotovsky, there live people from whom the integrity of the state emanates. These are people from whom the scoop has not yet emerged,” and so on. He insults people. They say: “So what is this, today is a new government, are we third-rate to it? We no longer trust this government.” Especially when the governor takes his candidate for mayor by the hand and, already violating the law on local elections, walks with him through the streets of Odessa during working hours and says: “Candidate from Saakashvili.” And this is written on all the boards in Odessa,” Fabrikant said.
