Saakashvili: Odessa customs withered because of saboteurs

Chairman Mikheil Saakashvili expressed this opinion at a meeting with the budget commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Duma website reports.
According to him, the initiative of the Cabinet of Ministers to use 50% of excess revenue from customs was simply sabotaged by making a decision manually.
“First they took away the energy customs office, which is 25% of customs revenues, then they increased the plan very sharply, not to mention the fact that the main thing is that they manually controlled the indicator indicators and so that all the cargo flowed to another customs office. It was no longer possible to do gray smuggling here, they started black smuggling,” Saakashvili complained.
The governor also noted that Odessa customs was practically left without profit.
“As a result, the Odessa customs not only did not remain profitable, but also became... almost completely withered due to the fact that, for example, at the “7th kilometer” cargo is returned from the Kyiv customs, Dnepropetrovsk, Lvov and so on. There really was sabotage,” Saakashvili said.
The Odessa governor did not name the saboteur.
