Chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration Mikheil Saakashvili spoke about this on the air of the 112 Ukraine TV channel.
“Firing everyone and recruiting new ones will not change anything,” believes the ex-president of Georgia. – We need to make electronic customs terminals. There is no need for customs officers there at all; all law enforcement officers, all phytosanitaries and all sorts of environmentalists must be removed altogether. We have already started building these terminals. Each container will be processed within 15 minutes, more than 5% of containers will not be inspected, the computer, and not the customs officer, will decide who to inspect and who not.”
“If the prime minister wants to change the system, he must quickly allocate money to us for these customs terminals, get rid of all the moronic procedures, because if we follow them, it will be in 1,5 years, and this must be done quickly,” Saakashvili added. – And so you will exchange some bandits for others. And they will tell us every six months that we are changing everyone.”
