Saakashvili refused to lead Klitschko's party. Only Shkiryak remained
Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili refused the offer of Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko to run in the elections together with the UDAR party, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Journalist Kristina Berdinskikh reported Saakashvili’s refusal on Twitter.
“Mikheil Saakashvili did not agree with Klitschko’s proposal to go with UDAR to the elections,” she said.

Klitschko himself wrote a post on social networks about this at night.

Earlier, the mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, invited Mikheil Saakashvili to lead his UDAR party in early elections to the Verkhovna Rada. According to the proposal, Klitschko remains the leader of the UDAR party, and Saakashvili can become the head of the political force. Saakashvili responded by recording a video in which he asked his supporters to help with Klitschko’s response.
