Saakashvili “liked” sanctions against Deripaska
US President Donald Trump turned out to be “a very hard stone” for Russian President Vladimir Putin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by ex-President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili on Facebook.
“The sanctions imposed against Russian oligarchs, including Putin’s son-in-law, by the American administration are unprecedented. I especially liked the sanctions against Deripaska, who immediately after the announcement lost a quarter of his capital,” he noted.
According to the ex-president of Georgia, Deripaska and American political strategist Paul Manafort launched a discrediting campaign against him in the international press.
“It was Deripaska, together with Manafort, who waged a large propaganda campaign against me in the international press, starting in 2005. How much vile things they wrote about us all over the world back then. I saw Deripaska once (he was sitting next to me at a business lunch) - an absolutely disgusting guy!” – Saakashvili lied.
