Mikheil Saakashvili believes that Russian President Vladimir Putin will prevent him from overthrowing the Ukrainian government, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

He stated this in an address posted on Facebook.
“Vladimir Putin said that he will not allow Saakashvili to run around the squares of Russia. But he also meant that he would not allow pro-Ukrainian forces to come to power in Ukraine. With these he makes all sorts of small talk and agreements. But he felt that the people of Ukraine were waking up, and this was unpleasant for him,” Saakashvili said.
He is sure that Putin is acting in concert with Petro Poroshenko.
“They are now in the same boat, they talk about me in the same terms. But Ukrainians do not obey Putin’s instructions, nor the oligarchy’s instructions, nor the instructions of various other elements. We will be peaceful and calm,” Saakashvili said
