Saakashvili offers hangars for rat houses
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky must move all central government bodies to a large hangar near Kiev, selling administrative buildings in the center of the capital at auction.
The ex-President of Georgia, former head of the Odessa Regional State Administration, Mikheil Saakashvili, who had been restored to Ukrainian citizenship, stated this on air on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The politician emphasized that it is necessary to build completely transparent offices for Ukrainian officials, then they will not be able to take bribes.
“President Zelensky said: “I want to take out the administration.” Were you in the administration? This is a disaster, rat man, for real. Carry out any procedures there, bring any priest there... Downstairs, in the basement, there is a special room where the cache is brought in. From customs, from the tax office, from the markets... He came and said: “I can’t do it here.” Immediately there was a cry: “We won’t give him a place, it costs a lot of money,” said the ex-president of Georgia.
He assures that all this will not require a lot of money.
“I did this in Georgia, I took the parliament in Tbilisi and moved it to the city of Kutaisi, saved a lot of money. Do you know how? We have sold many local government buildings. I was once the Minister of Justice, we sold this Ministry of Justice for a hotel. A five-star hotel is now being built there, the state has started working. That is, if the center sells the Verkhovna Rada, the Cabinet of Ministers, the Banking, all these ministries, a huge amount of money will go into the budget.
Take 1/5 of this money, take some hangar outside of Kiev, somewhere where it is cheap, so as not to create traffic jams for people when they drive their cars, take it there - there are trains nearby, just, maybe a small branch, it won't cost much. Bring them there and say: “The administrative apparatus is four times smaller.”
They sit in these modern offices in large hangars and work for the country. They sit in glass ones so that you can look at them from above, from the outside, you can’t even take bribes in these glass offices,” Saakashvili said.
