"No. I lobbied a lot for Ukraine in America. This summer I went there to do some interviews. America recognized my documents, Poland too. They released me and said: everything is fine, go,” Saakashvili said on the NewsOne TV channel.
At the same time, he claims that he had equally good relations with both candidates for the US presidency during the last campaign, but Hillary Clinton has a special relationship with Saakashvili.
“I was friends with both Hilary and Trump. I told Hilary's campaign back in August that she would lose. Hilary nominated me for the Nobel Peace Prize. She told me that I reminded her of her husband Bill. No one in the world reminds me of Bill as much as you,” Saakashvili said.
