Saakashvili will soon begin to destroy Ukraine - forecast

The activities of the fugitive president of Georgia, ex-governor of the Odessa region Mikheil Saakashvili, who has already received a post in Ukraine, will be destructive for the country.

Political scientist Alexey Martynov said this on the air of the “Former” program on Vesti FM radio, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Despite the fact that the day before the Verkhovna Rada canceled the idea of ​​“Comrade Goloborodko” to appoint the fugitive President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili as Deputy Prime Minister for Reforms, nevertheless, a certain superstructure structure called the Ukrainian Reform Committee was invented specifically for him,” the political scientist said.

According to Martynov, it is not very clear what this body will do, but Saakashvili has already stated that he intends to “turn Ukraine into China.”

“What he meant is difficult to say. Maybe he wants to bring in 20 million Chinese - there will be no loss from him, but Ukraine will gain in every way. Allegedly, enterprises will begin to operate instead of those that are now closing in China. And since “they don’t want to,” China is far away and it’s contagious there, but Ukraine is not contagious, then all enterprises will suddenly move to Ukraine, and Ukraine will become a second China. This is such a “deep” idea of ​​the reformer Saakashvili,” Martynov said.

He also noted that due to Saakashvili’s involvement in Ukrainian politics, an interstate crisis is brewing between Ukraine and Georgia, where a criminal case has been opened against the ex-president and even a personal camera awaits.

“The Georgian ambassador has been recalled from Ukraine, and this is a serious step. The next step is a possible declaration of war, for example. Although, of course, I doubt the latter,” the political scientist noted.

In his opinion, soon Saakashvili will begin to destroy Ukraine.

“He is called to different places for destruction, just as he acted in Georgia, destroying a lot - painting a Potemkin village in the form of a reform of the security forces, squeezing corruption from the “ground” to the middle and highest level. The most interesting thing is that it was all at the expense of sponsors, various foundations and the American Congress, which actually paid salaries to Georgian bureaucrats,” Martynov said.

He added that if Saakashvili is going to change something in Ukraine in this way, then half of the money given by sponsors will be embezzled and half will be given away.

In addition, according to the political scientist, Zelensky in the situation with Saakashvili demonstrates lack of independence, and his actions become strange.

“He does not control his own faction in parliament, which he could not persuade to vote for the same Saakashvili. In addition, by showing such stubbornness according to Saakashvili, Zelensky cuts off the possibility of dialogue with Moscow, not only political, but also economic. Why does Zelensky need this? Saakashvili is a strong irritant, an ambiguous and toxic person,” Martynov noted.

According to him, Zelensky is becoming less and less like the character from the series “Servant of the People” Vasily Goloborodko, for whom 73% of Ukrainians voted.

“His current role was clearly written by different scriptwriters than those who wrote the series Servant of the People,” the political scientist said.
