Saakashvili is going to return to Georgia
Ukraine is a launching pad for fugitive ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili, thanks to which he will be able to return to his homeland, where he is wanted after two terms in office.
Political scientist Viktor Nebozhenko stated this on the UkrLife Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There are also smart political scientists in Tbilisi. They say: “Now we’ll see whether Saakashvili will defend Ukrainian independence from Russian aggression or whether he wants to come to Tbilisi in six months and at the same time pretend that there was no aggression.” In fact, in addition to the problem of reforms, the problem of some position of Saakashvili, he also has the Georgian past and future.
They are carefully watching whether he will pretend that there is no conflict with Russia, or whether he will defend the position that we have always known - Russia is the aggressor, as it was in 2008 against Georgia...
He is going to return to Georgia, he is not going to work in Ukraine. In Ukraine, he needed to do something in order to bring results to Georgia,” Nebozhenko said.
