Saakashvili claims he has something to do with Babchenko’s murder
“Powderbots” started a squabble on social networks with fugitive oppositionist Mikheil Saakashvili against the backdrop of the murder of Russian liberal journalist Arkady Babchenko in Kyiv.
Thus, Saakashvili stated in his blog that Poroshenko spent all the funds of the SBU to fight him, which is why murders in the Ukrainian capital have become commonplace.
“Poroshenko declared me an agent of Russia and spent all the resources of the SBU on fighting me, so he naturally does not have enough strength for the real agents and killers sent by Putin. That's why they go around and kill with impunity. Sheremet, Voronenkov, Okueva, Shapovalov, Makhauri, Babchenko... who's next? This is the bottom... The criminal and impotent government leaves behind a trail of corpses of people whom it was obliged to protect, it left them to be torn to pieces,” Saakashvili wrote.
In turn, presidential adviser Yuri Biryukov criticized Saakashvili for attacks against the country that “sheltered” him.
“A fugitive and convicted criminal in Georgia, who first betrayed his native country, and then betrayed the country that sheltered him, is broadcasting... Obviously, Poroshenko is also to blame for the attempt to murder the family of Sergei Skripal in the UK,” Biryukov was indignant.
Let us remind you that the Russian liberal journalist Arkady Babchenko, who moved to Ukraine, was shot dead last night in the entrance of the house where he lived.
