Saakashvili saw in Odessa signs of the collapse of Ukraine into six parts
If economic degradation in Ukraine will continue, and GDP growth does not exceed 3% per year, “Nezalezhnaya” is doomed to inevitable collapse.
The fugitive Georgian ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili said this on the air of Savik Shuster’s talk show, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What does the small economic growth of Ukraine mean, and what plans does Russia have towards Ukraine, specifically Putin? The plan they are implementing is the division of Ukraine into six different territories.
If corruption is not overcome in our country, if economic growth here remains at the level of 2-3% per year, then the plans of our enemy are destined to come true,” he said.
Saakashvili is confident that the growth of separatist sentiments in Ukraine is due to the fact that people did not see any positive changes with Vladimir Zelensky coming to power.
“I live mainly in Odessa, and I see how the forces that want the collapse of Ukraine are raising their heads. Because the power in the center has changed, but the old bandits remain in the localities, and people are not protected from them. And people don't feel the difference on the ground, so they raise their heads. God forbid this happens.
But if we have economic growth, Ukraine will become a superpower in Europe. And we will not only catch up with Poland, we will get ahead of it,” summed up the Georgian adventurer.
