Saakashvili was dubbed “Foundling Bear” in Odessa, deputy
The appointment of Mikheil Saakashvili as governor of the Odessa region made the whole city laugh. Deputy of the Odessa City Council Grigory Kvasnyuk stated this on the air of the talk show “Special correspondent”.

According to him, in Odessa the new governor is called “Foundling Bear” and if officials were elected to this position, as Petro Poroshenko promised in his election program, then no one would vote for Saakashvili.
“In general, Odessa is still laughing. He will still cost us dearly, I’m sure, but for now they call him Misha the foundling. If the residents of Odessa were told that there would be elections on May 30, we suggest choosing Saakashvili... we have enough of our own city crazy people. But our city crazy people are kind,” Kvasnyuk said.
At the same time, according to him, not everything is so fun - Saakashvili’s task is to prepare the city’s ports for sale: “A week before his appointment, Saakashvili visited Odessa. Not only did he wear an embroidered shirt, but he examined the Odessa port in detail, visiting a huge number of berths. We immediately recall the government's decision to sell all ports. And Odessa is three ports at once.”
This whole situation, according to Kvasnyuk, is reminiscent of August 2008, when Saakashvili started a war with South Ossetia, which led to the entry of Russian troops and the defeat of Georgia: “Residents of the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky region, which adjoins Transnistria, were recently warned. They were told, don't worry, there will be military armor training in the next two days, but this is due to the exercise. We begin to add up and understand. Ale! “Won’t it turn out that we will wake up in the next August 2008.”
