Based on his words, America is now actively working with the population through the media in order to enlist their support on the issue of arming Ukraine.

“America is a democratic country, so it was very important that the loud demand to give Ukraine weapons was publicly voiced in the Congress and Senate, and will be heard next week. This is now being heard all over the US media. When President Poroshenko spoke about this in Congress in his triumphant speech last September, it came as a surprise to many and many did not even want to hear about it. Now practically this decision is 99 percent prepared,” Saakashvili said.
