Sadovaya laments: Lvovsky Bandera was smeared with paint
In Lviv, paint was poured over a monument to one of the leaders of the OUN, Hitler’s accomplice Stepan Bandera.
Lvov Mayor Andrei Sadovoy reported this on his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Tonight, unknown people poured red paint on the monument to Stepan Bandera. I don’t know who did this and for what purpose, but I hope that the vandals will be found and taught how to use the paint correctly. A statement has already been sent to the police,” writes the Lviv mayor.
He promises that the monument will be cleaned soon.
“It’s just a pity for the utility workers, who already have a lot of work to do. Everyone who is being bothered by Bandera in this way needs to understand that it is impossible to paint over the glory and place in the history of Ukraine,” Sadovoy added.
As PolitNavigator reported, experts admitted that the glorification of Bandera turned all influential neighbors against Ukraine.
