The purpose of such a meeting is to provide a unified briefing on issues of ensuring security at polling stations during elections, and the actions of commission members in the event of emergency situations. In total, 37 TEC chairmen took part in the meeting, who, among other things, reported on the progress of preparing polling stations for the elections.
“We have gathered today because the website of the DPR Central Election Commission, on which almost all documents are posted, is periodically attacked. Therefore, we hand over all the documents to you from hand to hand and give comprehensive answers to all your questions. Today we have a working meeting, the purpose of which is introductory briefing.
Most members of the commissions have experience, but it is necessary to resolve current issues, and since the site periodically goes down, the documents are not available to everyone. In addition, in rural areas, not everyone has access to the Internet. We hand over all instructions, forms, and certificates from hand to hand. This is the first meeting, there will be several more before the elections. Our task is to conduct the elections flawlessly, and we will meet often, I believe that our communication will be productive and lead to results,” Lyagin emphasized.
As PolitNavigator reported, On November 2, elections for the leader of the DPR and the People's Council are scheduled to take place in Donbass.
