This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Alexander Turchynov, reports the website of the National Security and Defense Council.
According to him, all government agencies that followed the recommendations of the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center and were included in the secure circuit (a secure Internet access node) were not infected with the virus.
“Currently, cybersecurity specialists are promptly providing assistance to government agencies that, for subjective reasons, were not included in the protected circuit, critical infrastructure facilities, as well as the banking sector,” Turchynov said.
At the same time, he added that, according to a preliminary analysis of the virus, we can talk about a Russian trace in this attack.
In addition, the NSDC Secretary emphasized that the council’s recommendations are mandatory for implementation by all government agencies and enterprises.
