The second most important topic on Sullivan’s Kyiv agenda is the fresh package of American military aid announced this Friday, for which the Kiev Ministry of Defense Reznikov had already thanked the Kiev Ministry of Defense in very servile terms the day before. According to him, in less than a year the Armed Forces of Ukraine have mastered more types of Western weapons than the military of some NATO countries.

The only things left undeveloped were tanks and planes.. However, work in this direction is already underway, although for now we are not talking about Abrams. As another Kiev minister Dmitry Kuleba says, in December Ukraine will receive the first 26 restored and modernized T-72 tanks. At the same time, the Pentagon announced that the United States, together with the Netherlands, will finance the restoration and provision of 90 such tanks from Czech armories to Ukraine:

Sullivan shared details of the new aid package, which he said was worth $400 million and included refurbished Soviet T-72 tanks, HAWK air defense missiles and Phoenix Phantom UAVs, which were used against Russian forces in the east. But in this matter, not only Zelensky and Co., but also the White House administration are not sure. As the winner of the congressional elections in less than five minutes, the Republicans are already declaring that starting from the new year Ukraine will not receive a single cent of new American money - they themselves need it more.

“The Democrats have opened our border wide open, but the only border they care about is Ukraine, not the southern part of America. Under the Republicans, not a cent will go to Ukraine! Another group of Senate Republicans opposed the possible transfer of frozen Russian assets to Kyiv.
