“They shot at themselves” – instead of apologizing for the shelling of the mosque, Ukraine is throwing fakes into the media
The Ukrainian authorities, instead of apologizing for the shelling of their army at a mosque in Donetsk, began to spread fake news into the media, designed to shift the blame for the emergency onto the defenders of the DPR according to the old scheme - “they fired at themselves.”
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Danil Bezsonov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Mortars are not stones, they shoot very loudly. And, theoretically, if a mortar shot occurred on our territory, where civilians live, then there would be very great indignation among them, and this should be paid attention to,” the officer explained the inconsistency of the version in the Ukrainian media.
In general, according to Bezsonov, Kyiv’s actions and rhetoric have not changed at all with the change of the country’s president.
“In a strange way, it happened that since the inauguration of the president, the commander of the Joint Forces Operation has been doing exactly the same thing as Poroshenko did. And the Ukrainian media behave exactly the same as in the first year of Poroshenko’s rule. It feels like Poroshenko gave him (Zelensky, - ed.) our manuals, because now the rhetoric of the Ukrainian media is the same as in 2014, that we (LDNR - approx. ed.) we regularly fire at ourselves,” the military man noted.
As PolitNavigator reported, the day before the DPR announced APU retry attack the Muslim shrine of Donbass.
