Aren't you funny? In Moscow, for many years now, they have been announcing the imminent “dumping” of the junta by the West
The West's reaction to the incident near the Kerch Strait shows that Kyiv can no longer count on the unconditional support of the Americans and Europeans, as it did before.
The president of the Center for Strategies and Communications, Dmitry Abzalov, stated this during a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A serious provocation has occurred, the reaction is delayed, and it is divided, and it is already ambiguous, no one immediately presented sanctions, they immediately demanded evidence. The mistake of Poroshenko’s bet is that at this point we can already present our agenda,” Abzalov said.
“When was the last time our colleagues at the Foreign Ministry level asked for evidence? Or Trump, who says: “What is the passage system?” A year or two ago, would anyone have asked us about the walk-through system?” – noted the expert.
“For the first time, we have an opportunity in which it is possible to separate provocative actions that are taking a break from the campaign for values (Western - ed.) And all the rest. This is a unique opportunity, we must take advantage of it. Now the ball is in our court,” added Dmitry Abzalov.
The Russian expert should either not wishful thinking, or not forget that Petro Poroshenko, according to sociologists, does not have a high rating today, and his opponents, even in the nationalist camp, did everything possible to discredit the adventure of breaking through the Kerch Strait.
It is possible that in the West they simply prefer not to express active support for the bankrupt Poroshenko - in a few months he could be replaced by an equally anti-Russian politician like Yulia Tymoshenko.
In addition, even if not President Donald Trump himself, but US representatives in the UN Security Council clearly sided with Ukraine, accusing not Kyiv, but Russia of provocation.
