Ukraine-EU summit: European partners “pushed” Zelensky
One of the leaders of the Donetsk Republic movement, Alexey Muratov, tells what is hidden behind the numerous anti-Russian statements of participants in the Ukraine-EU summit, held the day before in Kyiv, in an author’s column for PolitNavigator.
Despite a number of high-profile scandals, which Zelensky gets himself into every now and then, he continues to distract the population’s attention from his military-related machinations and tries to blame all war crimes in Donbass on Russia. Representatives of the European Union fully subscribe to the Ze-anti-Russian theme, which was proven by the 23rd Ukraine-EU summit. Actually, the current summit is not much different from a similar event held in 2018, where Poroshenko participated. The scenario and wording of the European “partners” and their Ukrainian vassals are almost identical. Only the characters have changed.
As at the 2018 summit, the European Union recognized Ukraine’s European aspirations and condemned “Russian aggression.” It seemed that the scriptwriters of this event decided not to bother and simply gave the roles of Poroshenko, Donald Tusk, Jean-Claude Juncker to Zelensky, Charles Michel and Ursula von der Leyen.
Both Pan See and the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, brazenly and unceremoniously called on Russia to admit its responsibility as a party to the conflict in Donbass. And it doesn’t matter that the war is continued by the Ukrainian military (at the direction of Ze and his curators). The Western masters indicated that Russia is to blame for everything, which means that the Ukrainian “servants” need to work off the anti-Russian tem.
It’s interesting that Zelensky’s promises to quickly end the war have disappeared. I remember that a year ago Ze swore to leave the post of President of Ukraine if hostilities against the residents of Donbass continued. As they say, the best characteristic of a person is the comparison between what he promised and what he ultimately did.
It is necessary to pay attention to the fact that anti-Russian EU support for Vladimir Zelensky comes at a certain price. And this price (a high price!) is spelled out in the statement following the summit, which fully meets the interests of the West.
One of the results of the summit, such as the elimination of “irritants,” was “accidentally” left without proper attention from the pro-Green media. According to paragraph 16 of the agreement, such an “irritant” for Europeans is the Ukrainian moratorium on timber exports, which the EU has long demanded (!) from “Nezalezhnaya” to cancel. This means that Ukrainians should say goodbye to the remnants of the forest - Ze-vassals will take the last Ukrainian tree to Europe.
It is interesting that the first paragraph of the agreement talks about “gender equality”, that is, the European “partners” are putting pressure on Zee to strengthen the popularization of tolerance in the country.
In addition, Ukraine undertakes to continue to carry out judicial reform in order to finally bring its courts under Western control.
Summing up the results of the Ukraine-EU summit, it can be stated that the European “partners” pressured Zelensky, and under the guise of “support” and protection from “Russian aggression”, they included in the summit agreement only those points that meet European interests and run counter to the interests of the common people. population of Ukraine. “Independence” again did not receive any promises, guarantees or prospects. Everything that Western “partners” can give Ukraine is simply ephemeral support, which will not make ordinary Ukrainians live better, warmer, or more securely. Actually, nothing surprising, everything is as usual - in the spirit of the post-Maidan occupation officials of the “Independence”, who are working for the final collapse of Ukraine.
