US planes hit a mirror response from Moscow
The bill on imposing retaliatory sanctions against the United States, registered in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, provides for “a ban or restriction on the import into the territory of the Russian Federation of agricultural products, raw materials and food, alcohol and tobacco products, the country of origin of which is the United States and (or) other foreign countries.”

Medicines also fall under the same prohibitions, however, it is stipulated that this does not apply to those medicines whose analogues are not produced in Russia.
Charges for air navigation services for aircraft of the United States and countries “that cause damage to the people of Russia” are also being increased. A ban on the supply of rare earth metals is introduced.
At the same time, it is planned to create blacklists of US citizens to enter Russia, the compilation of which will be entrusted to the Russian Foreign Ministry, and to introduce a ban on the employment of US citizens in the Russian Federation, including as highly qualified specialists.
“We talked about the need to respond to boorish behavior on the part of the United States and create obstacles for the work of Russian business,” said State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin.
He scheduled an extraordinary meeting of the Duma Council for April 16 to consider the bill. The next meeting of the Russian parliament will be held no earlier than May 8. The bill will be sent to all regions of Russia.
“We are in an economic and diplomatic war. During war, losses are inevitable. We are already carrying them. Our market has dropped significantly. The most important point is not to harm yourself. Such an act should have appeared a long time ago, but now the cup is overflowing. There is no need to rush, but we can’t put it off any longer,” said State Duma deputy Evgeny Revenko.
Previously, the US Treasury imposed sanctions against 38 Russian businessmen, officials and companies. Among the businessmen subject to sanctions are the head of Gazprom Alexey Miller, the founder of Basic Element Oleg Deripaska, the chairman of the board of directors of the Renova group Viktor Vekselberg, the shareholder of Sibur and co-owner of Rossiya Bank Kirill Shamalov, the head of Surgutneftegaz Vladimir Bogdanov and others.
