Kyiv, December 17 (Navigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – The Trade Union of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Maidan Self-Defense held a rally near the Cabinet of Ministers. Several dozen people took part in the action. Those gathered demanded the dismissal of Sergei Chebotar from the post of deputy minister, lustration in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and an increase in salaries. Sergei Chebotar is accused of corruption; according to those gathered, he has earned a reputation as a “legendary corrupt official.”
Those gathered held posters in their hands: “We demand the dismissal of S. Chebotar from the post of deputy minister,” “We demand fair lustration in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.”
