As the press service of the capital’s police reported, about a hundred “aggressively minded young people are at the entrance to the Ukraine Palace, who behaved quite aggressively, throwing stones and eggs, trying not to let people through to the concert.”
At the same time, the Main Directorate emphasized that they cannot talk about any political affiliation of these people and what organization they may represent.
It was reported on social networks that “Dynamo” ultras protested under the building and tried to break the building’s fence. A message appeared on the Svoboda Twitter account that Igor Miroshnichenko was trying to bring “the press and activists” inside the building. In addition, Svoboda claims that law enforcement officers used tear gas.
In turn, eyewitnesses report that protesters threw eggs, firecrackers, and firecrackers. Some saw stones in the hands of participants in the aggressive protest. According to the protesters, everyone who came to the Ani Lorak concert are traitors. And according to Igor Miroshnichenko, the injuries of spectators are nothing compared to the injuries that Ukrainian military personnel receive in the ATO zone.
The press service of LifeNews stated that during the active phase of the confrontation near the palace of “Ukraine,” TV channel journalist Evgenia Zmanovskaya was beaten by Ukrainian journalists, and the police did not want to help her.
As of 20:45, the situation is under control of law enforcement officers. “The police remain, but everything is calm,” the Hromadske.TV journalist said live. According to him, unknown masked people broke glass doors, painted the walls with the words “Death of Lorak,” etc. The confrontation between law enforcement officers and protesters turned into open clashes: two police officers, according to unofficial information, were injured. The Ani Lorak concert took place, but the picketers promised to return tomorrow in larger numbers and disrupt the next concert.
As PolitNavigator reported, Lorak has already postponed her concerts, in particular in Lviv, due to possible provocations. Note that the singer was accused of collaborating with the FSB.
