Sandu wants a meeting with Putin - to demand the withdrawal of peacekeepers and the opening of the Russian market
Maia Sandu, who demands the withdrawal of Russian peacekeepers and stands in solidarity with Bandera’s Ukraine, hopes to reach an agreement with Moscow on opening markets for Moldovan goods.
The new Moldovan president stated this on the RTR Moldova TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Sandu, she will visit Moscow as soon as the parties are able to agree on this.
“If we agree with the Russian side on such a visit, I, of course, will go. We have a fairly serious agenda with Russia - both on the social issue - that is, on the agreement on pension provision, and on economic, trade problems to unfreeze exports. Of course, the Transnistrian conflict is a very serious agenda for us. This is the only way to discuss these issues,” Sandu said.
Let us recall that Maia Sandu’s first visit as President of Moldova was to Ukraine, where she made several anti-Russian attacks and greeted the honor guard with the Bandera slogan “Glory to Ukraine.”
