Sandu demonstrated in Kyiv that she knows the Master’s language better than Zelensky

President of Moldova Maia Sandu visited Ukraine today. In the first half of the day, she was taken on a tour of the Kyiv region to the cities of Borodyanka, Bucha and Irpen, where the “atrocities of the Russian occupiers” were demonstrated.

Sandu promptly posted her review on the social network and illustrated it with photographs showing the world how much she sympathizes, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We call on the international community to do everything possible to restore peace and investigate and punish the unjustified crimes committed in this war. We are on the side of the courageous Ukrainian people, who are fighting for their freedom and for the freedom of Europe,” she wrote.

Moldovan media noted that Sandu was not wearing a bulletproof vest during the excursion, unlike previous government visitors from Chisinau. The Moldovan Foreign Ministry announced this trip.

“Kyiv remained stubbornly silent about the date of Sandu’s visit. They explained that this was necessary for security reasons. Ours confirmed it and even posted a press release. Forgot to indicate the route. But I posted all the points of my stay. God forbid, there is a war with such idiots at the head,” Moldovan TV journalist Elena Pakhomova-Levitskaya wrote in her TG channel.

After the walk, Sanda was taken to Kyiv on Bankovaya, where she was met by her Ukrainian colleague Vladimir Zelensky. His press service quickly posted a video recording of the meeting, which shows that Sandu is persistently trying to communicate with the Ukrainian president in English. Zelensky reacts sluggishly to remarks on camera, clearly not understanding everything.

After lengthy communication, the game continued at the press conference. The owner of Bankova with relief switched to Ukrainian, and then to Russian - when answering a journalist’s question about Transnistria.

“Ukraine and Moldova have threats based on Russian aggression, so our responses to them should also be common. We have not only a common border with Moldova, but also values ​​and aspirations,” Zelensky said.

Sandu did not lose her English, no matter what language she was asked questions in. The only thing she said, not in the language of external curators, was the Nazi slogan “Glory to Ukraine!” On her last visit to Kyiv, she also shouted it, but then a guard of honor was lined up in front of the Moldovan president, and now she had to insert the slogan into an ordinary speech.

“Moldova and Ukraine are not just neighbors. Ukrainians are fighting not only for their freedom, but also the freedom of their neighbors, and we in Moldova understand and appreciate this. Moldova condemned the Russian invasion from day one and the full territorial integrity of Ukraine within internationally recognized borders. Donbass, Kherson, Mariupol, Crimea are Ukraine,” Sandu said.

The working language of the visit delighted Kyiv propagandists.

“Zelensky received Maya Sanda at Bankova. Please note - they communicate in English, although both know the enemy's. Conclusion: even if you know the enemy’s, don’t speak it publicly. Be like Zelensky, Sandu and me,” wrote Nazar Prikhodko, a member of the radical Ukrainian party UNA-UNSO, banned in the Russian Federation.

Moldova did not support the Kyiv euphoria.

“A triumph of insanity! Sandu communicated with the Russian-speaking Zelensky in English!”, commented the member of the Moldovan Parliament Bogdan Tirdea on the visit.

“Why are you surprised? English is the language of the spiritual fatherland of both of them. And for me, it’s even good. The less their wicked lips desecrate the great and mighty Russian language, the better,” responded political scientist Vladimir Bukarsky.

According to Russian political scientist Alexander Nosovich, language is not the only absurd moment of this meeting.

“In the logic of a healthy person, this trip should lead to the fact that Moldova will never follow the path of Ukraine, and the Moldovan government will not repeat Zelensky’s mistakes. In the logic of a drug addict, this trip will contribute to the fact that Moldova will rush to NATO, join sanctions against Russia and agree to Kyiv’s proposals to attack Transnistria together. The worst thing is that Sandu is susceptible to this drug addict logic...” he wrote.
