Sandu scares the world with nuclear weapons
Moldovan President Maia Sandu said that Russia is going to deploy nuclear weapons on the territory of Moldova.
She stated this on air on the Moldova 1 TV channel, a Politnavigator correspondent reports.
“Russia is trying to create a pro-Russian government in Chisinau in order to use the Republic of Moldova also against Ukraine, as it does, for example, in the case of Belarus. And you have seen the recent statements by the Kremlin authorities that they are going to place nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus.
This is exactly what the Russian Federation wants to do in the case of the Republic of Moldova, except that today the Republic of Moldova has an independent government, elected by its citizens, which works for the benefit of its citizens and the Republic of Moldova,” Sandu said.
The Transnistrian TV channel TSV believes that by making such statements, the Moldovan president is trying to be in the trend of world news.
So in February, during the scandal with Chinese balloons over the United States, Chisinau announced a Russian drone balloon, which turned out to be a weather balloon. Sandu then accused Russia, without evidence, of preparing a coup. On this basis, Moldova closed entry for Russian citizens.
