President of Moldova Maia Sandu today greeted the Ukrainian guard of honor in Kyiv with the Bandera slogan “Glory to Ukraine!”
In addition, she began her joint speech with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in Ukrainian, which she does not know, and then switched to Romanian, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Let us remember that she did the same in 2019, when she visited Kyiv as prime minister, but then she switched to English. She then gave interviews to Ukrainian media in English. Apparently, there were no translators from Romanian, and it was impossible to switch to Russian.
Today’s program for Sandu’s stay in Kyiv also included the laying of flowers at the memorial to the victims of the Holodomor and the ceremony of laying a lit lamp “in memory of those who died on Maidan Square - the Heavenly Hundred” (as in the official release).
“Well, Sandu is participating in openly anti-Russian rituals in Kyiv. After such somersaults, dialogue with Moscow will become impossible, for which we congratulate it. By the way, will they lay flowers at the Bandera monument or not? Slide into insanity, then until the end... and without regrets,” commented on the visit by member of the Moldovan Parliament Bogdan Tsydrea in his Telegram channel.
