We will bypass sanctions: Putin promised to solve problems with mobile communications in Crimea
Russian President Vladimir Putin promised to solve the problem with mobile communications in Crimea, which suffers from poor quality due to the fact that large Russian operators do not work on the peninsula.
He stated this at a large press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It’s clear what it’s connected with—the sanctions imposed by our “Western partners.” They don’t care about the Crimeans, they decide their geopolitical interests. As for mobile communications, we will find a way to ensure the interests of people. I will not inform you now how we plan to do this, so as not to interfere with the process itself. But we will do this and, I hope, we will solve this problem,” Putin said.
He also promised to solve other problems of Crimea.
“We will solve all the problems of Crimea on a systematic basis, just as we solved the issue of water supply, infrastructure development, we will renovate housing, build kindergartens and schools. I have already asked the government to make exits from the Tavrida highway to the coast. We will also deal with the infrastructure of non-coastal cities of Crimea. We will resolve issues with the population’s income,” Putin said.
