Russian sanctions could easily collapse the economy of entire Ukrainian cities, - opinion
Kyiv, March 31 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Further aggravation of relations between Moscow and Kyiv threatens with the introduction of economic sanctions by the Russian Federation, which could bring down the work of city-forming Ukrainian enterprises.
This was stated by the former editor-in-chief of the Kommersant-Ukraine newspaper Valery Kalnysh on the air of Public TV.

“We understand one simple thing: we are so closely intertwined with Russia! Let’s say, my native Zaporozhye - Boguslaev and Motor Sich - if stop, we don’t sell engines - half of Zaporozhye will immediately be left without work. And behind it Melitopol also falls. Or some kind of AvtoZAZ. And that’s it, it’s over!” - said Kalnysh.
“If we cut everything off—“take everything and ban it,” we will suffer first,” he admitted.
However, he believes that Russia will not be able to cope with the maintenance of Crimea.
“In 5 years, I am absolutely sure that Russia will not be able to support Crimea... Any drop in oil prices is minus ten bucks, and that’s all!” – says Kalnysh.
