US sanctions against Crimean sanatoriums turned into a “zrada”
It seems that the latest package of American sanctions against Russia (which includes a number of sanatoriums in Crimea on the “black list”) was introduced by US President Donald Trump “for show.”
Ukrainian political expert Dmitry Dzhangirov stated this on the air of “Ukrlife.TV”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“These sanctions are a game. Trump does not give up hope of still securing neutrality or some kind of support from Russia against China. Trump is pursuing his line against China and such compromise restrictions against Russia.
The fact is that they have a cycle (in the USA - ed.) the time has come to impose sanctions, but what was introduced - several boarding houses in Crimea - is ridiculous. From the point of view of even the Crimean economy, this is very little, but for the Russian economy, “the detachment did not notice the loss of a fighter,” Dzhangirov noted.
“Yes, there are nuances, it sounds something like “another package of sanctions,” but they are minimal, but they reported - sanctions have been introduced. But in parallel, they are negotiating the possibility, for example, of developing Arctic oil and gas fields with American companies,” the political scientist added.
