Western sanctions against Crimea turned out to be full of holes
Crimea and Sevastopol, under Western sanctions, will develop following the example of the Baltic republics during the Soviet period. Co-chairman of the National Strategy Council Joseph Diskin stated this at a press conference at NSN.
According to him, the sanctions will not be lifted, but they are already being forgotten today, finding new ways to circumvent them.

“Most likely, formal changes will not take long, but the move that has existed since 1945 will be used. The United States did not recognize the entry of the Baltic republics into the Soviet Union, there were emigrant governments, but this did not in any way prevent representatives of the Baltic republics from participating in all international events and so on. Most likely, no one will lift the sanctions - they will begin to be forgotten a little and they will “fall asleep.”
And, most importantly, today a number of European countries are calmly reacting to the fact that, for example, diesel power plants from Germany from Siemens are being supplied to the small town of the Krasnodar Territory - Taman. Everyone knows, the control authorities all know where they are moving next. Moreover, representatives of the Siemens company, coming on a business trip to Taman to service these generators, come to their location. Today everyone understands perfectly well that the sanctions are full of holes,” Diskin said.
