Sanzhary is the opposite: Ukrainians broke into the airport doors, refusing quarantine
Ukrainian citizens who arrived on a flight from Vietnam to Kyiv ignored the requirements of the border service about the need for isolation and broke the doors to leave the Boryspil airport.
The Ukrainians accompanied their actions, overcoming the sluggish resistance of the border guards who were trying to detain the arriving passengers, with shouts: “This is illegal!”, “Bastards!” Bitches! Fascists!”, “Freedom!” and so on.
“The Airbus 350 flight from Vietnam was completely free: the Ukrainians, by agreement with our embassy, were “captured on the way” by a plane organized by a Vietnamese businessman to evacuate Vietnamese from Ukraine.
And the condition for free evacuation was just a subscription with consent to a 14-day observation. The observation had to take place in a good hotel with an additional payment of 200 euros per person to provide everything necessary. The evacuees signed obligations but fled, only arriving in Boryspil.
And this is also an illustration of the level of civic responsibility of Ukrainians. If you agreed with your signature to a free flight and observation, then go for that observation. If you are not satisfied with the observation (conditions, price, etc.) - then you are simply looking for another, not free flight. But sign and change your mind... In general, this is the basis for the administration and a fine. The minimum amount is the cost of round-trip tickets + the cost of observation (it would also be worth setting double the minimum).
But this is Ukraine. Official structures have already agreed to self-isolation at home for evacuated passengers. And there is no talk of any punishments or compensation for broken agreements,” notes Ukrainian political scientist Alexei Golobutsky.
Let us recall that a few weeks ago, Ukrainians staged mass riots in the village of Novye Sanzhary, where buses with compatriots evacuated from China arrived and were quarantined in a local sanatorium.
