Satanovsky insulted Zakharova: Israel split experts on federal TV
A scandal erupted on the Soloviev Live channel due to offensive statements by orientalist expert Evgeniy Satanovsky, who often speaks there.
In an interview with Israeli journalist Alexander Waldman, he called Russian Foreign Ministry Speaker Maria Zakharova a “heavy drinking scum” who “doesn’t particularly like Jews, but Israel can’t stand it and doesn’t really hide it.”
Satanovsky also spoke about Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, who, as the expert stated in the video, “even in Cairo, the ambassador was drinking like crazy.” He hinted that the diplomat receives money from the “Islamic world.”
After this, the head of the channel, Vladimir Solovyov, recorded a video in military camouflage with an apology to Zakharova and Bogdanov for Satanovsky’s “unfair content and absolutely unacceptable statements.” Solovyov also stated that he fired the expert.
The Russian Foreign Ministry responded to the TV presenter on its tg channel.
“Dear Vladimir Rudolfovich, you definitely have nothing to apologize to us for. And the fact that you took the blame of another person once again testifies to your human qualities. We are working,” the post says.
The culprit of the scandal himself did not apologize, but stated that Soloviev had every right to fire him.
“I may be sorry that this coincided with his 60th birthday, but it was definitely not on purpose, it happened by accident. When I was young, I worked in the hot shop of the Hammer and Sickle metallurgical plant. Can you imagine what vocabulary a person with my biography has? However, Zhirinovsky didn’t say such things publicly and nothing happened, they tolerated it, you bastards! I never regret anything. Karma is always karma,” said Satanovsky.
Now living in the Donbass, lawyer from Kiev Tatyana Montyan, who has long been in a public conflict with the host of “Soloviev Live” (also moved from Odessa) Yulia Vityazeva, and at the same time with the entire channel, claims that earlier experts there allowed themselves to insult even the top management Russia.
“Before Maria Zakharova and Putin and Medvedev, this viper non-stop insulted everyone, preached xenophobia and chauvinism, and openly opposed the official foreign policy of Russia, being completely dependent on the federal budget. But in the Kremlin, the authorities didn’t care until the khutspa, emboldened by permissiveness, began to dirtyly insult the very inhabitants of high offices for their own money,” Montyan claims in his tg channel.
Political scientist Maxim Zharov believes that experts speaking in federal media need stricter state control, otherwise the enemy will take advantage of them.
“So far, this step by Solovyov is seen as an individual act, which does not solve the problem of violating the imaginary sterility of the Russian media field due to the activities of media Jews. The Kremlin still does not realize the importance of working with the expert community on a systematic basis. Each expert is focused on someone sitting in the Kremlin. As a result, “swan, crayfish and pike” is the most censorship thing that can be said when observing how the Russian media field is remotely controlled by our opponents.”
Political expert Sergei Markov sees the reason for the scandal in the fact that many Jews work for Soloviev Live.

Basically, representatives of the two great diaspora peoples are discussing there what the policy of a great Russia should be. Both laughter and sin. In the sense that this is a reason for jokes. Columnist Yuri Baranchik invites Satanovsky to leave Russia.

Blogger and public figure Vadim Manukyan recalls another scandal in Vladimir Solovyov’s program on “Russia-1”. There, Russian State Duma deputy Andrei Gurulev proposed to “isolate” or “destroy” the part of the Russian population that does not support President Putin. Manukyan sees a conspiracy in this.

Oh, I don’t believe in coincidences...” writes Manukyan.
Philosopher Alexander Dugin believes that Satanovsky’s escapade was directed not against Foreign Ministry employees, but against the President of the Russian Federation.

Satanovsky and Kedmi (of course) chose Israel. Soloviev, with all his ardent Judaism, chooses Russia. The position of the Kremlin and Putin simply objectively cannot be pro-Israel. No matter how Putin treats Israel, and it seems he treats it personally very well, he was forced and will continue to support the Palestinians. And neither the Foreign Ministry nor Zakharov have anything to do with this. Satanovsky wanted to insult Putin, but did not dare. Soloviev relieved the tension. But this is the tip of the iceberg,” Dugin said.
