Savchenko can become a twice-hero of Ukraine as the heiress of the OUN-UPA terrorists
The OUN-UPA militants, praised by the current government of Ukraine, achieved their goals through terrorist acts. If the Ukrainian nationalists who carried out terrorist attacks 100 years ago are today proclaimed “heroes,” nothing prevents Nadezhda Savchenko from receiving such a high title again, but now for attempting to undermine the Verkhovna Rada.
Philosopher and political scientist Sergei Datsyuk stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we take into account such a hero of Ukraine as Stepan Bandera, there is still a debate, but the qualification of his actions is terror. Because the beginning of his activities, and the showdown with the Melnikites, that is, among themselves, between Ukrainians, and the genocide in Volyn are all direct and immediate processes of terror. Until now, these processes of terror create problems for us in Ukrainian-Polish relations...
I’m saying that terror in Ukraine is our glorious tradition, and that terrorists get heroes of Ukraine, and that just as today we all say: “Shame on Nadezhda Savchenko, because she carried out terror,” then this may happen, that someday she will be awarded the title of hero for the second time, because she once fought against oligarchic slavery,” Datsyuk said.
