People's Deputy Nadezhda Savchenko wrote a letter to the winner of the US presidential election, Donald Trump, asking him to strengthen international, technical and military support for Ukraine.

“With this letter I want to draw your attention to the problem of international support and protection of the territorial integrity of Ukraine... I am asking you to maintain and even strengthen sanctions against the aggressor country - the Russian Federation, because this country understands only strength and determination, which you do not have .
I also ask for increased international, technical and military support for Ukraine. I also ask for more decisive action from American politicians regarding the release of Ukrainian hostages from Russia, because I owe a great debt to the society of the whole world for my liberation, so I am doing everything for their return home.
I will be very grateful for your answer to me, in which, perhaps, you will provide explanations to the Ukrainian people and the whole world about the steps of the future US Presidential Administration on the issues that have been outlined.

Savchenko also congratulated the American people on their choice.
