Savchenko proposed introducing a total conscription in Ukraine: recruiting women into the army
Verkhovna Rada deputy, ex-ATO militant Nadezhda Savchenko is campaigning for a total conscription of the population of Ukraine into the army. She proposes to draft both boys and girls into the Armed Forces of Ukraine to teach them how to use weapons.
Savchenko stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The country is regressing. Of course, war, of course, we once sought to make the army a contract service, so that one could choose the army as a profession, and there would no longer be forced service, which was not effective.
At this time, forced service, that is, conscription, is being introduced everywhere again. Some people will like it, some won't like it. I believe that in a state of war, everyone needs to serve - both boys and girls. Not because you are going to work for the state or serve under duress, but because you need to defend yourself.
The war is not over yet, no matter what it is - frozen and protracted, or hot with battles and deaths every day. In any case, you need to understand that in unstable times in our world, it is better to be able to protect yourself and your family.
Therefore, I don’t advise you to avoid being drafted, as often happens, but, nevertheless, go and learn not to be afraid of weapons, to be able to wield them,” Savchenko said.
