Nadezhda Savchenko was well promoted at a meeting of the committee that considered the issue of lifting her parliamentary immunity when brought two pomegranate fruits, ridiculing the accusations of preparing a terrorist attack voiced by Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko.
“Savchenko brought grenades to the Rada. Two. Ripe. You should have seen the faces of the people's deputies when she reached for her bag, warning that she would get them now... Good PR move. They are working with Nadya,” parliamentary reporter Anna Steshenko notes in her blog.
