According to Savchenko, Petro Poroshenko is to blame for the failure of the prisoner exchange and the death of Ukrainian soldiers.
“I offered the President of Ukraine an effective option for exchanging prisoners - we must start handing over people first. But Pyotr Alekseevich’s children are not in captivity, and he doesn’t care about your children, because everyone must fight for their own. Go to Bankovaya - demand a meeting and report from the President of Ukraine, as the guarantor of the Constitution and human rights and freedoms, as from the Commander-in-Chief, who sent your children to death, and not his own. Come out and don’t let us forget about your loved ones,” Savchenko said.
