Savchenko to prosecutors: “Suitcase – Moscow – Russia!”
Prosecutor Alexander Bannik, who is representing the prosecution in the hearings regarding the suppression of people's deputy Nadezhda Savchenko, gave her as an example the Russian servicemen Alexander Alexandrov and Yevgeny Yerofeyev, who were accused of terrorism in 2015.
“Three years ago, two servicemen of the Russian Federation, Alexandrov and Erofeev, were sitting opposite me. So, in my personal opinion, they looked better. They had enough sense not to wreak havoc, not to commit murder on the territory of their own country,” the prosecutor said.
“Suitcase-Moscow-Russia!” Savchenko reacted and cursed the prosecutor obscenely.
It is noteworthy that earlier during the hearings she stated that as an officer she wants to defend the honor of the prosecutors who are forced to bring absurd charges against her.
“I don’t want everyone to think that you are idiots when you tell this plan that was written to you from above. First, blow up the Rada, then come and seize its ashes,” Savchenko said.
As Politnavigator previously reported, Aleksandrov and Yerofeyev were detained in the Lugansk region on May 16, 2015. The Russians denied accusations of terrorism and said they did not use ordered weapons at all. A year later they were exchanged for Savchenko.
