Savchenko spoke about the use of weapons
Accused of preparing terrorist attacks in the center of Kyiv, Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadezhda Savchenko compared herself with the head of the parliament's defense committee, Sergei Pashinsky, and said that, unlike him, she would not mindlessly shoot at people.
She stated this during a meeting of the Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kyiv, which is choosing a preventive measure for her, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Savchenko, she poses less danger than the current composition of the Ukrainian parliament.
“I am not MP Pashinsky. I am a person who really owns a weapon, I have ten years of experience in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, I have an award-winning weapon. I have never used it foolishly against peaceful people when something seemed to me.
And I have never used weapons anywhere except in war, in the two wars I was in - in Iraq and with Russia. I know how to handle weapons. There is much less danger from me than from parliament, which commits crimes every day, voting for the laws that they need,” Savchenko said.
Let us remind you that on January 31, 2016, Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Pashinsky, as a result of a traffic conflict, shot at a man on his way home. The man survived but was injured.
