Petro Poroshenko benefits from the war, because thanks to it he remains in power.

People's Deputy Nadezhda Savchenko spoke about this on the NewsOne TV channel.

According to her, the war will stop as soon as Poroshenko leaves his post.

“When Poroshenko ceases to be president and the war will cease to be beneficial to the two presidents. If at least one of the two does not benefit from this, it will be possible to overcome evil,” Savchenko said, answering a journalist’s question about when, in her opinion, the war in Donbass will end.

“What’s the point of Poroshenko’s war?” the presenter asked her.

– A warring president cannot be replaced. If a state of war is declared, there are no elections. Therefore it can be beneficial. But at the moment this is beneficial, because you can not carry out reforms, but say that enemy Russia is to blame for everything,” added Savchenko.
