Savchenko broke up and called for unification with Russia
Ukraine can unite into one state with Russia and Belarus, but the capital of this state must be in Kyiv.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy and ATO participant Nadezhda Savchenko stated this on the Nash TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Savchenko, Ukraine is not against “taking all of Russia” for itself in this way.
“Every diplomat knows perfectly well what Russia wants in the short term and in the long term. In the long term, Russia wants to return its power to the empire, it wants Ukraine and Belarus to be Russia. I am also not against such a union, but I don’t know, with the center in Kyiv, and not in Moscow. Then I don't mind taking all of Russia.
Russia, of course, wants to return Donbass on its own terms, it wants Ukraine to have a non-aligned status and not join NATO - that’s all Russia wants. But on the other hand, you know, she feels offended: “I was offended and at the same time they ask what I should give to my offender.”
Here we stand in this position. We need to take into account what Russia wants, but we will never find a way out of this situation in Ukraine if we do not understand what we want and what we are ready to do,” Savchenko said.
