Savchenko did what they were so afraid of in Kyiv - she declassified the lists of Ukrainian prisoners of war
People's Deputy Nadezhda Savchenko published lists of prisoners of war on her social network page, which Ukraine and the Donbass republics want to exchange.
The Ukrainian side submits a request for 129 people and is looking for another 494. The republics confirm the presence of 42 people. In response, the DPR requested 524 people, and the LPR – 377. Ukraine, in turn, confirms the presence of 256 people.
“In such situations, we have the first stage of the exchange of confirmed people on both sides - this is 42 to 256,” writes Savchenko.
According to her, these lists were prepared by her team over nine months and may differ from the official ones:
“These lists, which we collected nine months after my return, may already have inaccuracies. Someone could have been exchanged without anyone knowing, and there might be inaccurate or incomplete data about someone.”
Earlier, on the NewsOne TV channel, Savchenko complained that Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and the head of the SBU refused her help in freeing prisoners, so she took the initiative.
“I tried to negotiate - the answer was “no.” The answer was that I was not needed, everything was fine without me, so I had to go on my own. This was during the first meetings. If there is no desire to work together, then I can act autonomously simply in the same direction so that there is a result. As a volunteer. I offered many options to the SBU and to the president. But maybe I wasn’t heard, maybe I spoke some other language, as politicians are used to, or I walked in barefoot again,” Savchenko said.
